Jailbroken is a contained crime thriller set largely within a single location, following an inmate whose final hours in prison are disrupted by a threatening call that puts his family at risk. The film’s confined setting and character-driven narrative place a strong emphasis on atmosphere, performance and visual tone.

Working closely with the filmmakers, our role focused on refining and unifying the film’s visual language in post. The colour grade was developed to enhance tension and depth, carefully balancing contrast, texture and naturalism to support the claustrophobic environment and escalating pressure of the story.

The grade was completed using our in-house proprietary tool, Lab Grain Pro, a film emulation system designed to introduce subtle texture, depth and organic character into digital images. This allowed us to achieve a more cinematic, filmic finish while maintaining control and consistency across the entire project.

Alongside the grade, we managed the preparation and delivery of final assets, ensuring the film met all technical specifications for distribution across multiple platforms and formats.
